They termed chief minister as the benefactor of southern Punjab and said that the steps taken for public welfare in southern Punjab districts have no such example in the past. They said that the people of southern Punjab love the chief minister from the core of their hearts as performance of Shehbaz Sharif has become an example for the whole country.
The members of the assembly said that wherever they went, people appreciate the performance of the chief minister. They said that different people belonging to southern Punjab have had been appointed on different important posts in the past, but they did not do anything for the development of their region. The chief minster’s policies for the region; however, they said, have ushered in a new era of development there.
The participants also thanked the chief minister for the provision of funds for different development schemes and said that he has won the hearts of the people by providing sufficient funds for development. Establishment of five new universities, medical colleges and a hospital there are historic initiatives and small farmers are also being provided with interest free loans. The chief minister, they said, have brought revolution in the agriculture sector by adopting historic steps for the development of agriculture sector and prosperity of the farming community.
