Power theft found at judges houses & judicial rest house Muzaffargarh

An additional Session Judge Muzaffargarh Naveed Hussain Shah and Civil Judge Arif Khan Niazi were caught red-handed stealing power directly from the electric pole,as stated by SDO (Operation) Second  sub division , Mazhar Latif in his letter written to District and Session Judge Muzaffargarh and SHO Police station city. He stated that  a MEPCO team comprised on SDO (Operation) Second  sub division , Mazhar Latif , SDO First Ali Shafiq M& T representatives Shoaib and Mudassar Hussain Shah , Line Superintendent Kashif, representatives of divisional Checking team Muhammad Akram Gopang, Ghulam Mustafa Khalil , Lineman Shabbir Ahmed, Assistant linemen, Ghulam Jafar Ali Khan, Imran Suhail and Saifullah launched a crackdown against power thieves in Muzaffargarh city.They found direct power connections from main transmission line to two residences of judges and Judicial Rest House Muzaffargarh at 0545 PM on April 27,2016.They removed the wire and took 130 meter power-cable in its custody. MEPCO authorities have informed the District & Session Judge Muzaffargarh about this irregularity and sent a written complaint to SHO Police station city for institution of case under section 462(1) of power theft act. However, no action was taken as yet.
