    PIA cancels 17 flights owing to lesser bookings

    Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has cancelled 17 domestic and international flights on Wednesday (today).   A PIA representative is reported to have said that the flights have been cancelled owing to lesser booking during the first 15 days of Ramazan.Member of National Assembly and Senate could not go back to home after conclusion of budget session. Mostly Parliamentarians preferred to travel by road.
    The cancelled domestic routes include flights to Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Rahim Yar Khan.However, Islamabad-Multan operation is continued
    International flights to Oslo, Manchester, and Abu Dhabi were also cancelled.
    Merging or adjusting flights is a business decision and passengers are informed in advance, PIA stated.
