Asia's richest tycoon Jack Ma cautions world of Third World War

Asia’s richest person Jack Ma has warned the world of the impending Third World War, which can be caused by technological revolution taking place around the globe today.

“The first technology revolution caused World War I,” said the billionaire chairman of Alibaba. “The second technology revolution caused World War II. This is the third technology revolution.”
Ma has cautioned world leaders to be careful about the effects of automation and Artificial Intelligence, and try pre-empting the harms they can cause to human beings, The Independent reported.
“If they do not move fast, there’s going to be trouble,” he said. “My belief is that you have to repair the roof while it is still functioning.”
The AI, according to Ma, has the potential to eliminate humans’ woes and reduce working time for the people.
“I think in the next 30 years, people will only work four hours a day and maybe four days a week,” he said. “My grandfather worked 16 hours a day in the farmland and [thought he was] very busy. We work eight hours, five days a week and think we are very busy.”
The billionaire said there shouldn’t be machines which work like humans. “We should make sure the machine can do things that human beings cannot do,” he said.
