Passengers protest as PIA arrives in Multan leaving behind luggage of 35 people

Passengers were yet again troubled by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) as flight PK-740 leaves behind luggage at the Jeddah airport, prompting furious passengers to protest on Sunday. Passengers held strong protest as Pakistan International Airline (PIA) Jeddah- Multan direct flight PK-740 arrived at Multan International airport leaving behind luggage of 35/40 passengers.
Flight PK-740 arrived at Multan International airport on Sunday night at 06-40 When the passengers gathered to collect their belongings at the baggage collection counter, they were told that their baggage had accidentally been left behind.It was a shocking news for them.They started shouting against PIA management.Infuriated passengers said " this is not the first time that the airline has acted in a such reckless manner as it has numerous times forgot to load the luggage or taken the passengers to the wrong destination" Airport security force (AFP) tried its the best to placate the angry passengers but failed.The passengers staged a protest at the Multan International Airport and complained that the crew members of National Flage carrier Airlines were not cooperating with them. The passengers further said that they were told to go back home and that they will be informed whenever their luggage is brought back."PIA management has assured the passengers that they will get their luggage back within two days," said one distressed passenger. PIA Spokesman said that luggage of more than 35 passengers would reach at Multan by next flight
