A PIA flight from Peshawar to Karachi made an emergency landing at Multan

A PIA flight from Peshawar to Karachi made an emergency landing at Multan international airport on Tuesday safely after smoke was found in its cockpit . While the cause of the smoke is being examined, all 115 passengers on-board were declared safe and they have to stay in passengers lounge.
“A full emergency was declared for flight PK-353. The aircraft landed safe and emergency was withdrawn,” an official spokesperson from Multan International Airport said.“ Initially local authority declared emergency but later it was withdrawn. The emergency has since been withdrawn, and passengers  departed from another aircraft  an official spokesperson from PIA said.Pilots reacted immediately when they noticed the smoke in the cockpit and were able to land the plane at Multan.Everyone was able to disembark safely from the plan when it landed. firefighters wearing breathing equipment entering the aircraft to check for the source of the smoke. The aircraft was grounded for further examination.A special team of engineers reached at Multan airport by PK-330.Inspite of declaring the plane fit for flying. Civil aviation authorities did not let it fly.Upon this passengers staged a demonstration and shouted slogans against the PIA authorities.
