A curfew has been imposed in Mohmand Agency to catch suicide bombers

A curfew has been imposed in Mohmand Agency after information was received that six suicide bombers had entered the agency, an officer of the political administration said. It is  officially learnt here today.
The curfew was imposed as a preventative measure, the officer said, adding that the agency has been at security risk for quite some time now.
Law enforcement personnel, speaking to South Punjab News, said they had been instructed to shoot if they saw anything suspicious in the area.Law enforcing agencies are patrolling and keeping vigilant eyes on the movement of suspects
Educational institutions, offices and market places were closed down after the curfew was imposed and a blanket ban was placed on any social activity.
The district headquarters hospital was also locked-up and all other medial clinics shuttered.
